Telehealth sessions?
Do you do telehealth sessions?
Yes. I'm happy to discuss this if you feel like it might be a good fit for you. Because I'm licensed in Maryland, all clients must also be located in Maryland, even for telehealth sessions.
Insurance?
Do you accept insurance?
I am not an in-network provider for any insurance panels. My office can, though, check your benefits to see if you may be eligible to recieve reimbursements for out-of-network providers.
Feel free to call and see if this would be an option for you.
Children?
Do you work with children?
I work with older adolescents and teenagers. I will be happy to refer your child under the age of 13 to a children's therapist.
Length?
How long are your sessions?
Each session is 50 minutes in length. Sessions can be scheduled for longer when discussed together and arranged in advance.
Payment?
What types of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, checks, and credit cards. My fee is $160 per session. I do require payment at each session.
I'm nervous!
I'm a little scared. What will the first session be like?
The first session is a chance for me to get to know you and you to get to know me. You'll tell me why you're coming to therapy, and I'll probably ask some questions, and then we'll chat about how I can help you. It's not scary. In fact, most people leave the first session feeling at least a little better.
